The York County Regional Chamber of Commerce has been named the 2013 outstanding chamber of the year by the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.
York County Chamber President Rob Youngblood accepted the award in Asheville, N.C. late last week and says the business organization does not stop working just because it received the award.
This is really an achievement but also a motivation and an inspiration to keep going, said Rob Youngblood, President of the York County Regional of Chamber of Commerce. “And not only to keep doing what were doing but to change with the times.. .and not rest on our laurels.
The chamber today unveiled an expansion of exclusive benefits for its current and future members.
Those are credit card processing services offered by Ignite Payments and small business coaching provided by Successful Ventures.
Youngblood says 83 percent of the York County Chamber’s members have 20 or fewer employees.
