The Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas has released its selections for the annual all-star game pitting South Carolina’s best versus North Carolina’s best. This season, 3 players from the city of Rock Hill are on the roster of 40 that will represent South Carolina. South Pointe’s Zeek Rodney, Northwestern’s Mason Rudolph and teammate Corey Seargent.

Rodney has been a force the last three years for South Pointe, nearly breaking former teammate Jadeveon Clowney’s state sack record of 29 last season. Rodney finished the 2012 season with 27, but played one less game than Clowney did during his record breaking year. This season Rodney has been slowed by injuries, but when healthy is one of the most feared defenders in the state. Rodney has offers from Appalachian State, Ball State, Boston College, Charlotte, Marshall, and South Carolina State.

Rudolph has continued the list of great signal-callers to flourish under coach Kyle Richardson. So far this season, the senior QB, was accumulated 27 total touchdowns and 1689 yards of offense with only two interceptions through 6 games. Rudolph has college offers from Louisville, LSU, Ole Miss, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and has committed to play at Oklahoma State.

Seargent has accumulated 75 tackles to go along with 3 interceptions while leading a defense giving up less than 12 points per game. He currently has college offers from Kansas State, Nebraska and Ball State.
