ROCK HILL, SC—The latest NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Divison I men’s soccer rankings were released Tuesday afternoon and Winthrop fell to 10th in the South Atlantic Region.

Despite picking up two road wins last week and remaining unbeaten on the season, Winthrop dropped a spot into a tie at 10th with Virginia Tech, which dropped four spots after a tie and loss. It’s the third straight week the Eagles have been ranked among the Top 10 regionally.

Winthrop had moved up to 9th last week after a 6-0 home victory over Brevard College, but was bumped back this week by Drexel after it went from unranked regionally to 9th after wins over William & Mary and Rutgers.
