York County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking for your help in naming the suspect in a recent round of indecent exposure cases in Lake Wylie.

Back in June, a female shopper at the Lake Wylie Walmart said an unknown black man approached her in the garden section of the store; requesting she move her car to the back of the store. The man told the victim something might be leaking from her car; and wanted the car moved so he wouldn’t get in trouble with his employer. After the two moved her car to the rear of the store, she looked in her rear view mirror and saw the suspect performing a sex act.

Then, a second similar incident was reported at the Lake Wylie Food Lion on October 9. A female shopper told deputies a black man approached her saying her car was leaking brake fluid and he would fix it. Like the first incident, the man asked her to move her car. When she did, she saw the man again performing a sex act.

The suspect, deputies say is a black man 30 to 45 years of age with grayish hair and scruffy facial hair. He also has a chipped right front tooth, driving a grey SUV, possibly a Toyota Rav4.

If you recognize this man, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers of York County at (877) 409-4321.
