York County’s All on Board Coalition is still reeling from the disqualification of a half-million dollar, five-year federal grant this summer.
But now, the head of the organization says things are beginning to look up.
Bob Norwood tells WRHI the group, which works to curb underage drug and alcohol use, has raised $46,00 — about a third of the way towards a $125,000 goal.
Norwood said the group has received help from approximately five major donors in York County — including the York County Sheriff’s Office and the 16th Circuit Solicitor.
Plans are now underway to reapply for that federal Drug Free Communities grant next year from the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
