A 19-year-old Clinton Junior College student remains in stable condition at Piedmont Medical Center following a stabbing inside a campus dorm Friday.
At approximately 4 p.m., Rock Hill Police spokesman Mark Bollinger said two students were involved in a verbal argument over stolen goods from a female dormitory.
During that argument, police say 19-year-old Jasmine Smith of Marietta, Ga., stabbed the victim with a knife in the right arm.
Friends transported the victim to Piedmont Medical Center. The victim’s identity was not released late Friday.
Smith turned herself in to police Friday night and remains in custody at the city jail charged with Attempted Murder.
She will face a judge to set bond Saturday.
