This weekend, more than 300 educators from across the state will be in Rock Hill taking part in an intense, six-hour training session at Sullivan Middle School.
EdCamp SC, as it’s called, is attracting teachers and administrators to Sullivan Middle School Saturday for what principal and EdCamp SC co-host Michael Waiksnis says is matches perfectly with the district’s newly launched iRock program.
Waiksnis said the event is highly technology-driven and comes at no cost to the program participants.
And it’s not designed to be a lecture-based program.
Waiksnis said while this is the first year of the seminar, he hopes it will become a yearly event that attracts teachers from across the Carolinas.
