Men’s Soccer Moves To 9th In Latest NSCAA/Continental Tire South Atlantic Region Poll

ROCK HILL, SC—After remaining unbeaten last week with a 6-0 victory over Brevard College in the home opener, the Winthrop men’s soccer team jumped a spot in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire South Atlantic Poll.

The Eagles captured their only game last week and moved up a spot to 9th in the latest regional ranking. Winthrop is off to one of the best starts in school history at 5-0-1 and one of 15 schools across the nation without a loss.

Since the start of the season, Winthrop has been ranked or received votes in the South Atlantic Region and this is the second straight week in the Top 10.
