The latest business to set up shop in Rock Hill’s downtown corridor is now up and running.

SPAN Enterprises has moved its offices across town to the Citizen’s Building on East Main Street, occupying the second floor of the building that once housed, among others, First Citizens Bank and WRHI.

Charles Hardy says the new space was badly needed.

Hardy says the firm now employs 13 full-time workers and move specifically to downtown Rock Hill for the small-town atmosphere.

SPAN develops online software suits for major companies across the country.

Later this month, a Five-and-Dime store is set to open down the street at what was once the site of the Old Town Bistro.

And just above SPAN Enterprises, on the fourth floor, sits Rock Hill’s brand new Technology Incubator.
