Drug agents in Lancaster County have shut down a marijuana growing operation off Greenbriar Drive.

On Tuesday, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says the Drug Task Force Unit followed up on a tip that William Hillard was operating an illegal growing facility at 889 Greenbriar Drive.

Investigators visited Hiller’s home and smelled the marijuana coming from inside, and executed a search warrant on the operation.

In total, 20 marijuana plants, growing tools, accessories and marijuana that had already been harvested were seized. The estimated value of the seized drugs is $25,000.

“Drug Enforcement has always been and will continue to be one of top priorities,” said Lancaster County Sheriff Barry Faile. “We are pleased to get these drugs off street and get this individual in jail.”
