The highly anticipated grand opening of Rock Hill’s Technology Incubator finally took place Tuesday. The incubator, a joint effort between the City of Rock Hill, private partners and Clemson University, will help technology-based startup firms create jobs and become successful.
Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation Chairman Greg Rutherford says the Technology Incubator will become the epicenter of the future Knowledge Park.
Rock Hill Mayor Doug Echols called the facility a big step forward.
Technology Incubator director David Warner says three entrepreneurs have already signed up to operate in the facility and he expects to announce two or three more next week.
