The Rock Hill Police Department has released more information on today’s suspicious package investigation.
At 6:45 a.m. Wednesda, an employee at the main Post Office near downtown Rock Hill found a “suspicious package” on a table in the main lobby.
The Rock Hill Police Department’s Bomb Squad was called to the scene, and technicians examined the package with an X-ray machine.
The package was then opened utilizing a mobile robot. The package only contained a large book.
The Black and Wilson Street entrances to the post office were re-opened about 8:45 a.m.
