Peterson

The search for a missing York County woman continues — now more than five days after she was last seen at her Cannon Drive home in Rock Hill.

Susan Peterson, 59, told family members she was headed to Charlotte to donate plasma.

She has not been heard from or seen since.

Friday afternoon, her brother’s truck was recovered in Randolph County, N.C., but York County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Trent Faris said there few details as to where she may be.

“There’s no information to show that Mrs. Peterson made it to a plasmas donation center in Charlotte on the day of her disappearance,” Faris said. “We’re still working with the Randolph County authorities.”

Peterson is described as a white female, 59 years of age, standing 5-feet 2-inches all and weighing 135 pounds.

Faris said Peterson doesn’t appear to get out much, either.

“She stays at home a lot… she either goes to the grocery store or heads to Charlotte every now and then to donate plasma,” he said.

“We really have no idea where she is. She’s a true missing person.

If you see Peterson or know anything about her whereabouts, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers of York County at 877-409-4321.
