Rock Hill Schools Superintendent Lynn Moody has earned another round of accolades from this school board.
The district’s Board of Trustees spent Monday morning evaluating Moody’s progress, giving her a favorable review, a pay raise and extending her contract.
Board chariman Jim Vining tells WRHI while the board was very satisfied with Moody’s work, they want to make sure students and educators are not distracted by new technology in the classroom.:
This spring, the board gave the green light to a plan to introduce iPads in the hands of students grades 4-8. Vining said credit for the success of that program goes, in part, to Moody.:
The plan, dubbed iRock, goes into effect this coming fall. Moody was awarded a one percent salary increase and her contract was extended through June 2018.
