Police in Lancaster have arrested one man in connection with a Monday morning shooting outside a Walmart.
Malcolm Williams, 18, of Rock Hill was arrested late Tuesday night and faces armed robbery and weapons charges.
Williams turned himself in to police after the victim told authorities he was robbed at gunpoint by two black men in broad daylight. The victim said he agreed to meet someone in regards to a vehicle for sale on Craigslist.
Lancaster Police spokesman Capt. Scott Grant said the Craigslist ad appears to have been a setup.
Grant said the robbers took a large amount of cash, the victim’s wallet, keys and two GPS systems before they fled on foot.
The incident remains under investigation.
