If you’ve tried to access Family Trust Credit Union’s online services anytime today, chances are you may have seen incorrect balances or have had limited access.
Family Trust members first reported problems on the credit union’s web page around 8 a.m. Wednesday, saying their accounts were showing negative balances following direct deposits posted last night.
By 3 p.m., credit union officials said all services were back online.
“Members who se accounts were impacted will find their balances restored,” said spokeswoman Sula Pettibon in a written statement.
Pettibon said earlier today the issue was caused by human error in the institution’s online processing system.
“The issue may have impacted some accounts, with deposits and withdrawals occurring multiple times,” Pettibon said. “We assure all members that their accounts will be restored and they will not incur [Non-sufficient funds] fees as a result of the problem.”
