After nearly a quarter-century on the Rock Hill City Council, Osbey Roddey says he is not running for a 7th term in October.

Roddey represented Ward 5, and during today’s edition of Palmetto Mornings on WRHI, Mayor Doug Echols called Roddey a wonderful city councilman.

Roddey says he wants to continue serving as pastor at Langrum Branch Baptist Church in York and spend time with his family.

Ann Williamson Morrison and Mildred Moore have filed with York County voter registration and elections and will face off for the seat being vacated by Roddey.
