WRHI named a finalist for South Carolina’s top radio station

For the eighth time in nine years, News Talk 94.3 WRHI is one of two finalists for statewide radio station of the year.

WRHI, named the state’s top radio station by the South Carolina Broadcasters association in 5 of the previous 8 years, is up against WRCE-AM of Cheraw, S.C. OTS Media, the parent company of WRHI, had more finalists than any other radio station group in South Carolina.

The winners will be announced at the SCBA’s annual awards dinner August 10. The other categories that OTS Media is a finalist are listed below

Sportscaster of the Year
Chris Miller-WRHI-AM/FM (fourth consecutive year)

Reporter of the the Year
Mike Crowder-WRHI-AM/FM (second time)
David Watermann-WVOC-FM-Columbia
