Fort Mill High baseball player Kevin Woods drafted

Kevin “KJ” Woods from Fort Mill High School was selected in the 4th round (112th overall) in today’s Major League baseball draft by the Miami Marlins.

Woods led the Fort Mill baseball team in home runs, while helping the Yellow Jackets to the 4A playoffs.

According to the Marlins, they feel he is a high reward player.

Woods has signed with Santa Fe Community College, however with this selection, he may forgo college.
