Exel Incorporated and Energizer Holdings broke ground Tuesday on a $38 million, 1 million square foot distribution center in York County.
Ed Hahn, senior director of business development for Exel, said his company has worked on the project with Energizer for 18 months — and he’s convinced this is where both companies want to be.:
Jennifer Bojdak, Director of Energizer’s Global Warehousing and Distribution, said her company has grown exponentially in the last 13 years.:
The new facility is set to open in April 2014 and will employ more than 130 workers.
