Rock Hill city pools open for the summer

Mud from the recent rains brought by Tropical Storm Andrea have delayed the opening of one city pool this weekend.

While city pools at Boyd Hill, Emmet Scott and Oakwood Acres will open Saturday afternoon, city officials say the Northside Center pool will open Monday.

The cost for open swim is 75 cents for children and $2 for adults 18 and older.

Opening Saturday, June 8

  • Boyd Hill Recreation Center: 1165 Constitution Boulevard
    Monday – Friday: 2-6 p.m., Saturday 1-5 p.m.
  • Emmett Scott Recreation Center: 801 Crawford Road
    Monday – Friday: 1-6 p.m., Saturday 1-5 p.m.
  • Oakwood Acres Park Pool: 2100 Montclair Drive
    Monday – Friday: 1-6 p.m., Saturday 1-5 p.m.

Opening Monday, June 10

  • Northside Recreation Center: 900 Annafrel St.
    Monday – Friday: 1-6 p.m., Saturday: 1-5 p.m
