3 arrested, one at large after drug agents bust McConnells meth lab

Three people are in custody and another remains on the loose after York County drug agents found another suspected methamphetamine lab, this time on Naturewoods Road in McConnells.

York County Multijurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit Lt. Mike Ligon says agents executed a search warrant at a residence about noon Wednesday.

Ligon says Jonathon Patrick jumped on a four-wheeler and eluded authorities while several others were inside the home. Authorities pursued him but were unsuccessful.

Amanda Holmes, 31, of Gaffney, was inside the home and officers found her two and a half year old daughter. Holmes is faces drug possession charges, as well as unlawful conduct of a child. The toddler was placed in protective custody.

Michelle Phillips, 29, of Gaffney and Benji Solesbee, 36 also face charges and remain in custody at the York County Detention Center.

Wednesday’s bust was the fifth suspected methamphetamine lab found in York County in 2013.
