A house party this weekend in Rock Hill led deputies ticketing 13 minors for drinking underage and another man arrested on drug charges.

Around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, authorities were called to a house off Alpha Street in regards to a noise violation.

Deputies said the crowd started to disperse into the woods, and to run off in the woods. Several suspects were later found in a wooded area around the home.

York County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Constable Trent Faris said 13 minors between the ages of 15 and 20 were cited for alcohol violations. Four other minors were issued summons to Family Court.

During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that a man at the party may be in possession of an illegal drug.

Luke Eggers, 20, was sitting in his car and told authorities he was at the party only as a designated driver. Deputies searched Eggers’ car and found marijuana, a plastic bag containing a bong and two metal tubes inside.

Eggers was charged with simple possession of marijuana.
