Rick Springfield headlines this year’s Old Town Amphitheater Summer Concert Series with a performance June 21.
Springfield has had 17 Top 40 hits and sold 25 million albums. City of Rock Hill Downtown Development Manager Cathy Murphy says booking Springfield took quite a long time working with his management.
Country music singer-songwriter Clint Black is also part of the 2013 Old Town Amphitheater Concert Series. Black, who has written, recorded and released more than 100 songs and sold more than 20 million albums takes the stage on August 8.
Murphy says the Old Town Amphitheater is an awesome environment to see a concert.
Tickets for both concerts can be purchased by going to only in onlyinoldtown.com/concerts.
The series also features Rough Draft at Rock Hill’s annual Red, White and Boom salute to America on July 3. Fireworks will follow that performance.
