The newest Winthrop University poll shows that South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley’s approval has increased, while President Obama has more Palmetto State residents who do not approve of his performance.  69 percent of Republicans and those leaning to the GOP approve of Haley’s performance in the April poll, while 43.5 percent of all South Carolina residents approve.  Meanwhile, 46.5 percent of Palmetto State residents disapprove of President Obama’s performance.  The latest Winthrop poll questioned more than 1000 adults living in South Carolina from April 6th through the 14th.
