Davis led Lewisville to the 1A state basketball championship last month. The former Gamecock star will join his old teammate Melvin Watson as head coaches at Rock Hill Schools. It would be nice if the media did not release news prior to offician announcements taking place. I understand that news sells, however the feelings associated with the players of Lewisville High were not considered, which is in poor taste. In addition, Larry Davis, Melvin Watson, and BJ McKie are successful in their own rights, and do not need to be mentioned together in every article. This grouping toghether shows the lack of jouranlism skills by any author.
