One month from today — tens of thousands of visitors will flock to Fort Mill for the 2013 South Carolina Strawberry Festival.
Town spokeswoman Kimberly Starnes said Thursday this year’s festival is chock-full of a number of family friendly events over a two-day period.
One of those bands is nationally known. Last year’s festival drew more than 50,000 people to Walter Elijah Park.
Starnes explains what new attractions that kids and their parents can expect.
This year’s festival runes May 4-5, 2013 and ends with fireworks that Saturday night.
The Strawberry part of the festival’s name comes from Fort Mill-based Springs Farms which opened in 1936.
