Two men are now facing felony charges after a shooting this weekend in Fort Mill this weekend that later led police on a nine mile chase through Rock Hill.

Police say 24-year-old Kolby Byers shot at and missed a man and his daughter before fleeing the 200 block of Drane Circle with 23-year-old Iryain Mitchell.

Mitchell crossed the US-21 bridge in Fort Mill while police pursued him along Cherry Road, Heckle Blvd, and Crawford Road. Mitchell was finally stopped after officers deployed spike strips on Pinckney Street.

Byers faces attempted murder and weapons charges while Mitchell is charged with accessory, driving under suspension and failure to stop for blue lights.
