Police searching for suspects in armed robbery of Fort Mill bank
The search continues for two men that York County Sheriff’s Deputies say robbed a Fort Mill bank Wednesday morning.
York County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Trent Faris said that two black men wearing hoods and masks walked in the First Patriot’s Federal Credit Union at 10:53 a.m. demanding money.
The bank sits on the east side of U.S. 21 at Regent Parkway just south of the state line.
Six employees were in the bank at the time, and the suspects ordered all six employes to the floor.
Faris said the men left the scene in a small silver-colored car with a silver trunk.
It’s not yet clear which direction they were headed. No employees were injured during the incident.
