Several hundred business, community and government leaders turned out Thursday night for the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 14th annual meeting. Nearly a dozen business leaders were honored for their achievements. A special award was given to the Rock Hill Industrial Park on its 50th anniversary. Frank Barnes III accepted the honor.

Wayne Wingate received the Citizenship and Service Award, and told the crowd he is blessed to live in Rock Hill.

Jack Clinton of Clinton Family Ford received the Lifetime Business Achievement Award. Chamber President Rob Youngblood gave his usual David Letterman-like top ten list on the lighter side, but had a serious message for government leaders. That is to be more civil.

Youngblood also urged government officials to end gridlock.
