An early morning fire Tuesday at a home off Greenwood Lane has displaced ten people.
Rock Hill Fire Battalion Chief Rusty Myers said that shortly before 5 a.m., firefighters were called to the home where ten people were living inside.
The American Red Cross has put the victims up in hotel rooms with basic necessities after flames struck the brick home, leading to a roof caving in that was visible from the street Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say while there were no injuries, one pet was not accounted for and died in the blaze.
Family members stood outside the home Tuesday sorting through belongings, salvaging kitchen and bedroom items.
