Bond denied for Chester County teens charged in gradmother’s murder

Bond was denied Thursday for two Chester County teenagers accused in the murder of Jimmie Diane Paul, 59, Tuesday.

Marquaes Buchanan, 18, and Clayton Watts, 17, both faced a Magistrate Thursday morning. They both face murder and weapons possession charges.

Paul was found dead on a kitchen floor from several gunshot wounds at a home on Williamsville Church Road just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night.

Watts’ is Paul’s adopted grandson.

Investigators say the shooting was a planned attack — and say more arrests are expected.
