Lancaster County Sheriff Barry Faile was sworn in to his second term in office Thursday afternoon.

The one-term Democrat beat Republican Scott Case for a four-year term in November.

Faile says that despite continued growth in Lancaster County, specifically in Indian Land, his deputies jobs remain the same.

Newly elected Chester County Sheriff Alex Underwood was sworn into office earlier this week as Chester County’s first black Sheriff.

Incumbent Bruce Bryant of York County will be sworn in as Sheriff once again on Monday.
