Bomb squad called to Nation Ford High for a ‘suspicious package’
Students and faculty at Nation Ford High School were evacuated from a portion of the building Tuesday after police say a suspicious device was found on the school’s campus. District spokeswoman Kelly McKinney.

In a statement from Fort Mill Police, Capt. Bryan Zachary said authorities determined there was no deliberate attempt to cause harm to anyone or disrupt the school.
Meanwhile, bomb-sniffing dogs were checking schools in Myrtle Beach after multiple threats were made Monday.
Around 9:45 a.m. a bomb threat was found written on a bathroom wall leading to the evacuation of Myrtle Beach High School. At noon officers responded to North Myrtle Beach High School for another bomb threat.
Unfounded bomb threats have been a problem in Horry County.
Last December five were made at a single school in a 15-day period.
