York County drug agents Tuesday arrested a Fort Mill man on multiple charges of drug possession with the  intent to distribute.

Commander Walter Beck of the York County Multijurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit says that 50-year-old Travis Nelson was stopped for driving with a tinted rear license plate cover near Regent Parkway Tuesday morning.

Deputies found an open bottle of vodka in the passenger compartment of Nelson’s  Land Rover and later came across 1.1 grams of cocaine and nearly $500 in cash, two cell phones and a cell phone credit card reader

A search warrant later executed at Nelson’s Flint Hill Road home revealed a slew of drugs including cocaine, ecstasy, mushrooms, steroids, Xanax pills and marijuana. Deputies also seized another 20 grams of an unknown white powder from the man’s apartment.

Nelson’s mugshot was not available early Wednesday morning.
