Negotiations add hiccup to Fort Mill Town Manager’s search

The search for Fort Mill’s next Town Manager appears to have hit a bit of a hiccup.

Mayor Danny Funderburk said Tuesday Town Council had narrowed the list down to a final candidate, but after making an offer, could not come to a resolution.

Funerburk says that decision will take place tomorrow night behind closed doors. He says though, that the hiring process is still on track.

Fort Mill’s current assistant Town Manager Joe Cronin, Beaufort County Deputy Administrator Bryan Hill and Abbeville City Manager Nolan Wiggins all made the final list of three candidates, narrowed down from 75 applicants.
