A Winnsboro police officer who investigators say shot estranged wife Sunday night and fled in his own town patrol car remains on the run.
State Law Enforcement Division investigators say 43-year-old Michael Roseboro was last seen in the town of Winnsboro and his patrol car was recovered this morning near Great Falls.
A BOLO or “be on the lookout” was issued to law enforcement officials statewide Sunday, saying Roseboro was driving a white Ford Crown Victoria with South Carolina license plate MG40260, the car identified as Car 69.
A warrant has since been issued for Roseboro’s arrest and he is considered armed and dangerous.
His wife was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a Columbia hospital.
