The sheriff’s office says Clinding is suspected in the September 24th home break-ins on Branch and Lincoln Roads in York. In each of those cases doors of the homes were kicked or forced open.
Clinding became a suspect in the break-ins after he used a credit card at a convenience store in Charlotte. Wednesday he was stopped by the South Carolina Highway Patrol in Anderson for speeding.
Clinding was arrested in connection with the York burglaries. He was booked into the York County Detention Center on $40,800 bond.
