Surveillance video released in Cherry Road gas station robbery

Authorities are looking for your help in identifying a man police say grabbed an $440 off the counter at a gas station this week.

Police say just after 1 p.m. Sunday, a black man walked into the BP convenience store at 624 Cherry Road and reached behind the counter, snagging cash to the right of a cashier’s station.

In the video, the store clerk appears to have her back facing the counter as the man wanders around the store and quickly grabs the cash. The man remained in the store for another minute..
