Rock Hill School Board member recovering from stroke

Rock Hill School Board member Elizabeth Ann Reid remains in care at Carolinas Medical Center after suffering a stroke Wednesday.

School Board Chairman Bob Norwood said Thursday he’s glad to see how much support Reid and her family have seen from the community.

Reid has served on the school board since 2000 and is a member of the biology faculty at Clinton Junior College.

Rock Hill Schools Superintendent Lynn Moody said late Thursday Reid is resting comfortably and has since been moved to a private room.
