Each week during the 2012 high school football season, we’ll be bringing you the highlights of the night’s action during The End Zone — our two-hour post game show focused on all of your local teams.

But after the last bleacher is swept and the fences are locked at the stadium you can still catch your favorite highlights from the game.

After losing to South Pointe last week, Nation Ford had its work cut out for them again with the Cougars of York.

Nation Ford held its own in the 1st quarter as the Falcons’ defense forced the Cougars to turn it over on downs twice.

But, you can’t hold the Cougars down for long…. With 1:36 seconds left in the half the cougars clawed their way to the scoreboard

That Spencer Carrol touchdown pass to Tay Neeley was for a 65 yards, and York went into halftime with a 7 to nothing lead.

Nation Ford came out in the 3rd Quarter and took to the air…

AK Mckoy going up and grabbing that 39 yard touchdown pass from Dalton Helms tying the game 7 to 7 with 7:54 to go in the 3rd.

The defensive battle continued and Nation Ford’s defense stepped up to the plate late in the game…

That was Carroll’s third interception of the night as Nation Ford went up 14 to 7. But with a short memory, Carroll and the Cougars struck back…

The Cougars tied things up and went into overtime with the score knotted at 14. A York field goal gave them the lead 17 to 14 giving Nation Ford a chance to win it.

Jackson got in to give Nation Ford a huge win over York.

Rock Hill traveled to South Pointe tonight with hopes of shaking off last week’s loss to Fort Mill. South Pointe on the other side trying to wrap up its second straight City title.

After a scoreless 1st quarter, the Stallions’ special teams put them on the board…

That 60 yard punt return by Anthony Johnson puts the Stallions up 7 to nothing. CJ Pendergrass added a touchdown run to send South Pointe into half with a 13 to nothing.

In the 3rd quarter, once again it was CJ Pendergrass…

They would fail to convert the 2 point conversion and lead 19 to nothing. Later in the 4th CJ Pendergrass would add his 3rd rushing touchdown from 15 yards out to make it 25 to nothing.

Anthony Johnson scored from Special Teams and late in the 4th he scored from the air…

Tay Blake to Anthony Johnson on that 24 yard touchdown reception made it 32 to nothing. And that would prove to be the Final Score as South Pointe stay unbeaten.

Clover (0-8) and Lancaster (1-6) both struggling and looking to get their 1st region win of the season

Clover didn’t take long to get on the board…

7 to nothing Clover, BUT Lancaster’s Keedarious Jackson had something to say…

Lancaster would go for 2 and take the lead 8 to 6.

In the Second quarter Clover would retake the lead with a 31 yard Field Goal sending the Blue Eagles into the half with a 9 to 8 lead.

Lancaster took an early lead in the second half on Kendarious Jackson run making it 14 to 9 but Clover continued to fight back…

That score made it 15 to 14 Clover. The Blue Eagles added another TD to make it a 21 to 14 lead. But the Bruins roared back taking the lead and then putting the game on ice…

Bruins go on to win it 36 to 21.

After spoiling Rock Hill’s Homecoming last week, Fort Mill traveled again to District Three Stadium to take on the Trojans of Northwestern.

The Yellow Jackets didn’t wait long to Sting the Trojans….

Rylan Wells and Breshon Simpson hooking up on that 65 yard touchdown strike to give Fort Mill a 7 to nothing lead.

On the next possession Northwestern’s Mason Rudolph found his favorite target….

Dupre Hart on the 7 yard touchdown reception knotting it up at 7 apiece at the end of the first quarter.

Northwestern’s DYNAMIC duo struck again in the second quarter…

That touchdown connection was for 20 yards putting the Trojans up 14 to 7 heading into halftime.

Northwestern would come out in the 3rd quarter and continue the Rudolf and Hart show…

They would add the extra point and increase the lead to 21 to 7. Dupre Hart would add a touch down run of his own to make it 28 to nothing.

Then with 32 seconds left in the 3rd the DUO would hook up again….

That 8 yard connection would be Hart’s 4th touchdown on the night pushing the lead to 35 to 7.

The Trojans would go on to win 42 to 7.
