A changing business climate morphed by consumer trends, growth and smart development are behind a number of studies looking to see how portions of Rock Hill’s Cherry Road can be revamped. For years, it was the main artery connecting western portions of the county to Interstate 77 — thus the main commerce corridor. Now, with growth and routes like Dave Lyle Blvd and Celanese Road, Cherry Road is still as busy, but some business has moved elsewhere.
