Rock Hill-based Keystone Substance Abuse Services says its one hundredth healthy baby was born earlier this summer through the organization’s residential program.
After 14 years in service in York County, the healthy girl was born June 18th.
Keystone is York County’s designated substance abuse center and guides roughly 55 women through a residential treatment program each year.
Keystone officials say with an average of seven healthy babies born each year, some 50 children are reunited with their mothers resulting in the successful closure of their DSS cases.
