[media-credit name=”LCSO” align=”alignright” width=”300″][/media-credit]It’s the second marijuana bust in the area this week — this time in Lancaster County. Wednesday, deputies arrested 52-year-old Donny Jackson after they say he was growing the recreational pharmaceutical just off SC-160. Jackson faces charges of possession of hashish and growing and manufacturing marijuana.
Deputies say they found the drugs and several firearms worth 100-thousand dollars. Drug agents removed the 60 plants from the home and they’re now in evidence.
In a statement Thursday, Sheriff Barry Faile said he was pleased his deputies located and seized the drugs before the pot could reach the streets of Lancaster County.
Jackson remains in jail on $25,000 bond.
