Rock Hill businessman John Rinehart Senior says he turned in more than 1,300 signatures to get his name on the November ballot as a petition candidate for York County Council District Two.

He says one of those challenges is bringing quality jobs to York County.
He says he and more than 40 volunteers went door-to-door in the district trying to get signatures.
Rinehart is the founder and chairman of the board of Rinehart Realty Corporation and faces first-term incumbent Bruce Henderson in the November 6th general election.
Rinehart was one of some 200 candidates removed from the June Republican primary ballot because of a mixup over financial paperwork.
