ROCK HILL — Authorities are investigating at least three separate incidents of passing counterfeit bills at area retailers.

Three incident reports in Rock Hill dated July 4th and 5th show that three separate individuals attempted to use 20-dollar bills at the Taco Bell on Cherry Road, Parks Grocery on East Main Street and Founders Federal Credit Union on Ebenezer Road.

Each time cashiers or tellers checked and found the bills to be fake.

One of the bills was handed over to police, while another will be mailed to the Secret Service.
