Lottery proceeds helping York County schools, libraries

Officials with the South Carolina Education Lottery say at least two-point-eight billion dollars has been generated for K-12 and higher education since the games began in 2002.

Lottery spokeswoman July Huffmon says that York County has benefited from lottery revenue.

The current Megamillions jackpot is 14-million dollars… while the Powerball jackpot has jumped to 80-million dollars.
