1 dead, 1 hospitalized in Clover shooting

One man is dead and another woman was hospitalized after a shooting early Thursday in Clover.

York County Coroner Sabrina Gast says 21-year-old Kevis Thomas was pronounced dead just after 3:30 p.m. Thursday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

York County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Trent Faris.

A family member told the Rock Hill Herald the woman was 18-year-old Catherine Morris. Troy Montgomery, who said he was Morris’ uncle, said that at one point the two were dating.

Late Friday afternoon, Morris was still listed in critical condition
