Family Trust Federal Credit Union announced plans today to build a $7 million, 36-thousand square-foot administrative headquarters on the site of its existing branch on West White Street.

Alan Aschenbrenner, a designer with 505 Design, says the new building will reflect Family Trust president and CEO Lee Gardner’s vision of being a catalyst for re-development.
Family Trust’s administrative headquarters will house 65 employees. Gardner says part of the bottom floor of the new facility might be used as an economic incubator.
Rock Hill Mayor Doug Echols says the new Family Trust Administrative Headquarters is a cornerstone.
Construction on the new headquarters is scheduled to begin in early 2014 after the city of Rock Hill completes its White Street Beautification project.
The facility will open late that year or in early 2015.
