Deputies searching for suspect in abuse incident
York County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the boyfriend of a woman and her son who were severely beaten late Wednesday night.

The sheriff’s office says when deputies arrived at the Elder Road home in Rock Hill shortly after 11 p.m., they found 35-year-old Kimberly Dawn Faile-Bryant and her 16-year-old son.
Faile-Bryant is in serious condition at Carolinas Medical Center, while her teenage son is in critical condition at the same hospital. An 11-year-old child was also at the home when deputies arrived, but was not injured.
Witnesses tell deputies that the mother’s boyfriend, Danny Ray Pittman had been at the residence before or during the assault. The woman’s 2006 Kia Sorento is also missing.
Deputies are looking for Pittman so they can continue their investigation.
Anyone with information about the crime or the whereabouts of the vehicle or Pittman can call Crimestoppers at 877-409-4321.
